What does X-POINT Design do?
X-POINT DESIGN LIMITED is a Hong Kong design company offering three services: interior design, custom (bespoke) furniture design, and full-scope turnkey design that runs from first concept to coordinated delivery.
Is X-POINT Design an interior design company in Hong Kong?
Yes. X-POINT DESIGN LIMITED (香港交點設計有限公司) is incorporated in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 81494240). Its registered address (not a staffed office) is Room D, 13/F, Sun Fai Commercial Centre, 576 Reclamation Street, Mong Kok, Hong Kong.
Does X-POINT Design make custom furniture?
Yes. We design bespoke, made-to-measure furniture for specific rooms and clients. Production is carried out with our strategic partner Foshan Xuzhihui Household Products Co., Ltd., an OEM/ODM furniture manufacturer in Foshan, China (xzhfurniture.com), which is a separate company.
Can X-POINT Design handle furniture design and manufacturing in China?
Yes. We design the furniture and coordinate its manufacture through our partner Foshan Xuzhihui in Foshan, Guangdong, China, an OEM/ODM manufacturer. This gives clients one design team with a direct route to factory production.
What is full-scope or turnkey interior design?
Full-scope (turnkey) design means one team manages the whole project: consultation, space planning, visualisation, interior design, custom furniture, and coordinated production and installation, so the client does not have to coordinate separate designers and suppliers.
What types of projects does X-POINT Design work on?
Residential projects only, at present: apartments, houses and private residences, including bespoke furniture for those homes. We currently take on residential projects. Our portfolio shows four residential projects completed by X-POINT Design.
Can I see X-POINT Design's completed projects?
Yes. Four residential projects completed by X-POINT Design are published with photographs: The Ivory Residence, The Marble Residence, The Coffered Residence and The Atrium Residence, each with its own page and gallery.
How does the design process work?
Four stages: Brief, Concept, Development and Delivery. We start by understanding your needs, site, budget range and timeline, develop a concept and detailed design including bespoke furniture, then coordinate production and installation.

Which languages does X-POINT Design work in?
We work with clients in Chinese, English, Cantonese and Hakka. The website is in English.
Can I visit an X-POINT Design office or showroom?
No. Our Hong Kong address is a registered address only; it is not a staffed office and is not open to visitors. Please contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp to arrange a conversation.
Interior design questions
What does an interior design service from X-POINT include?
Space planning, layout and circulation; material, finish and colour palettes; lighting design; joinery and built-in storage; furniture selection or bespoke furniture; and drawings and specifications for construction.
Do you design residential interiors?
Yes. Residential interiors are what we currently do. All four projects in our portfolio are residential interiors completed by X-POINT Design, covering living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens, bedrooms, entries, bathrooms and studies.
Do you do commercial projects?
Not at the moment. We currently take on residential projects. We are not currently accepting hotel, restaurant, office or retail work.
How do I get an interior design quote?
Email us with the type of space, approximate size, location, timeline and any drawings or photos. We will reply to discuss scope before any fee is agreed.
Custom furniture design questions
What is bespoke or custom furniture design?
Furniture designed for a particular room, client and use, rather than chosen from a catalogue. Dimensions, materials, finishes and details are set for the project, then the piece is made to measure.
Who manufactures the furniture you design?
Our strategic manufacturing partner, Foshan Xuzhihui Household Products Co., Ltd. (Anna Collection / XZH), an OEM/ODM furniture manufacturer in Foshan, China. It is a separate company from X-POINT DESIGN LIMITED.
Can you design furniture for designers or developers?
Yes. Besides private clients, we design furniture for interior designers and developers working on residential projects, with production through our OEM/ODM partner.
Can I order only custom furniture without a full interior design?
Yes. Custom furniture design is offered as a standalone service as well as part of interior and full-scope projects.
Full-scope design questions
What is included in full-scope design?
Consultation and brief, space planning, concept and visualisation, detailed interior design, bespoke furniture design, furniture production with our manufacturing partner, and coordinated installation and styling.
Why choose a turnkey design service?
One team is responsible for the design and its delivery, so the interior and furniture are resolved together and you have a single point of contact instead of managing several suppliers.
Who is full-scope design for?
Homeowners furnishing a new or renovated residence, and owners or developers preparing a residential property, who want interiors and furniture delivered as one package. We currently take on residential projects.
Design fee questions
Is the design deposit refundable?
No. Both deposits are non-refundable. The interior design deposit cannot be deducted from the payment for goods; the product design deposit can be deducted from the payment for goods.
What is included in the interior design fee?
Overall layout, plumbing and electrical drawings, ceiling design drawings, a furniture layout plan, soft-furnishing (styling) scheme drawings and full-colour renderings of the whole project. For Mainland China projects (50 USD per m²) the fee also includes 3–5 on-site visits.
Do you charge for travel on overseas, Hong Kong or Macau projects?
Overseas projects, including Hong Kong and Macau (25 USD per m²), are normally delivered by video meeting. If on-site service is needed, all related travel costs, including but not limited to transport, meals, accommodation and visa fees, are borne separately by the client.
How are product (furniture) design fees calculated?
Per set, where one set is the whole of that item for a single residence. Each item has a starting fee in USD, with an extra charge when the stated length or area is exceeded; the extra amount is quoted separately according to the specific project. Fees are initial quotations and may be adjusted according to requirements, design complexity and product quality level.
